View From the Sidelines : “To Serve Mankind” This noble phrase may not have the noble connotation it may first bring to mind in our 21 century “All Lives Matter” atmosphere. But I will come back to this later. In the 8 years that Barack Obama was President I was pretty much oblivious to the work his administration was doing. I heard all the haters bringing the bad news about his birth origin, his policy about immigrants, his stand on women’s rights including reproductive rights, his stand on recognition of the rights of homo-sexual and people of gender identity. And to tell the truth I was much to occupied trying to pay my bills, get through the deaths in my family, and fulfilling the oaths to public safety my job included, to think much about; Why The First Afro-American President representing the people that lived under 400 years of Government endorsed enslavement followed by 153 years Government endorsed oppression, was getting such a hard time. Now we are almost 4 years

Father's Day 2020 , What If? We are not alone in the Universe.  If around a more prominent Sun a more prominent planet spins and there has evolved a more prominent species. With more variations, more characteristics and more aptitudes and abilities. What if we thought about that Lived Up to Our Best Capabilities? Just in case.

Nobody asked for my opinion but I am going to give it, as the namesake of Ratifier of The Constitution of United States of America Peter Zabriskie: People with guns not withstanding their social standing, be that Citizen, or Military, or hired for public service Police do not come out from under the 2nd Amendment which says ""A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."" A WELL REGULATED ....Not as a Military personel, as a Citizen, OR as a Police Officer is your right to bear arms EVER - NOT - WELL REGULATED.  To me this also includes the interference of a Labor Union in the Regulation. So Get Under the Law of the Land and be a part of the Solution, or continue to break the Law and suffer the consequences and be a part of the Problem.
