Reflections on aliens, elections 2020, and a time for all seasons.

Science, science-fiction, and faith all share one thing: Logos. The thing that sets us apart from other animals, plants, and minerals. As far as we know so far anyway. Tonight again the airwaves are full of visitors from other worlds dominating and wreaking havoc on the people of Earth. The scientists are at a loss. Alien technology is beyond their understanding. The Worlds great religions how ever have predicted the tribulation and uniformly promise an eternal reward for the faithful.

Call me crazy but I am not a great believer in tech, but am a great believer in people, their resiliency and the hope that wellsprings from the heart. So, grok me this. If aliens are coming, they have been coming a long time. It takes a long time to get across universes. They obviously have high tech, they are traveling across universes. If they are coming here it's probably not for the tacos. Of course truly advanced beings would recognize our tacos are worth the trip. So they are coming for the natural resources, what ever that might be, and move on. What ever time frame, move on, means to aliens. What to do!? Or not do. As I said I am not a big believer in tech. I don't think any of us are going to out run aliens across the universe. So I am looking for answers in the great texts of dreamers, believers, prophets, and enlightened.

Tonight stones gathered together and stones taken down comes to mind.
