History Occupation After rule by the Ottoman Empire ended there in World War I (1914–18), the Gaza area became part of the League of Nations mandate of Palestine under British rule. Before this mandate ended, the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) in November 1947 accepted a plan for the Arab-Jewish partition of Palestine under which the town of Gaza and an area of surrounding territory were to be allotted to the Arabs. The British mandate ended on May 15, 1948, and on that same day the first Arab-Israeli war began. Egyptian forces soon entered the town of Gaza, which became the headquarters of the Egyptian expeditionary force in Palestine. Dear Mother, How we got here, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi (26 October 1919 – 27 July 1980) was the Shah of Iran . In 1941, he succeeded his father Reza Shah and ruled the Imperial State of Iran until 1979 when the Iranian Revolution overthrew him. During World War II, the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran forced the abdication of Reza Shah and succession of Mohammad Reza Shah. During his reign, the British-owned oil industry was nationalized by the prime minister Mohammad Mosaddegh, who had support from Iran's national parliament to do so; however, Mosaddegh was overthrown in the 1953 Iranian coup d'état, which was carried out by the Iranian military under the aegis of the United Kingdom and the United States. Subsequently, the Iranian government centralized power under the Shah and brought foreign oil companies back into the country's industry through the Consortium Agreement of 1954. The premise that the 2nd Amendment is somehow Holy and irrevocable is Bullsh*t. The Founders wrote that Slavery was Constitutional enumerating Slaves as 3/4 of a person in the census. And we changed that...with the deaths of 600,000 persons and the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments. The Founders wrote that oppression of Women (and sexual minorities) was Constitutional when they used the language," All Men are created equal." And we were in the process of changing that with the 14th Amendment, and what could have been the 28th Amendment Equal Rights Amendment when Ronald Regan and his hooligans re-enslaved women. And this year 2022 when Donald Trump's Supreme Court overturned just months shy of 50 years of Supreme Court argued and decided Precedent for The Constitutional Right to Privacy in Roe vs. Wade. And we the people will continue to fight and enshrine that. So it follows that the Founders never foreseeing the slaughter of innocents' lives in schoolrooms, the rive...
