Holy Father in my heart I hear the question; did not Peter try to intervene in our Lord Jesus death? Is this also "false compassion"? Peter failed three times. The lesson it seems is that Death is entirely between the person dying and God, and not withstanding anything we observing bystanders say, do, or think will change that relationship. Therefore what actions the dying person takes, upon his/or her best conversation with God instructs them to follow...That is what they should follow. God lend your understanding I pray. pz
